How we approach gear & affiliate links

Our starting point is the activity, conditions, fit, and budget. Our guides explain what to look for and distinguish researched recommendations from hands-on testing. Some articles contain affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you buy through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are disclosed in the relevant article.
